UrbanEx -what's the inside story?

Why did Brighton Council give away our Grade 1 Listed pier for £1 then watch it rot for 35 years, when it could have been an international visitor magnet as a unique Victoria seaside heritage centre? Don't get me started....

While we're on the subject of abandoned buildings, is anyone into UrbEx? (Urban Exploration) where you carefully gain access to a disused building then take shots from the inside? It's exciting. It's dangerous. it's illegal. The graffiti of photography if you like. Ok, so who's done it? I'm intrested to hear of any experiences, successful or not...
